The Z-Lift Notebook Desk Stand is the only notebook desk stand that lifts and inclines a notebook into dozens if not hundreds of positions. It can raise the notebook up to a maximum height of 9.5" without tightening any knobs or adjusting any fixtures. The unit supports the weight of the heaviest notebook up to 17 Lbs. by suspending it in mid air in virtually any incline or elevation. The Z-Lift supporting mechanism works through tension locking clamps located in each of the four joints. These locking clamps have been tested up to 5,000 operations. This means if the unit is expanded and contracted every day it would have a life expectancy of 13.69 years. The Z-Lift has a fold-out support shelf that supports the notebook and prevents it from sliding off the platform. The support arm has variable height adjustments depending on the notebook's thickness. It has a starting height of 7/8" but can be expanded to 1-1/4". The Z-Lift has a built-in cooling fan with a unique fan exhaust design that swirls air 360ยบ under the notebook. The fan is set into a recess channel that creates an air space for the air to circulate and force out hot air that is radiating from the bottom of the notebook. The Z-Lift has a hard-wired USB cable for connecting to the notebook. This product has a smooth shiny finish of gray and black
